ANTI-CORROSION PROTECTIVE COATING FOR TG5 ALTERNATOR COOLANT TUBE PLATES AND INLETS

MATERIAL
Galvanised carbon steel tube plates, cupronickel CU-NI 90/10 tube bundle, aluminium fins.
PROBLEM
Damage to the tube plates due to corrosion caused by chloride-containing cooling water.
SOLUZION
Application of a thick anti-corrosion protective coating using the PHENCOTE system, consisting of a layer of Phencote HR60 resin primer and a layer of Phencote 2000 resin, with a final thickness of 3-5 mm. The coating restores and protects the surfaces of the tube plates and inlets, solving problems caused by corrosion and improving hydrodynamic conditions.
